Why use it

Landmarks are the foundation everything else in the add-on builds on top of — shape-key mapping, bone mapping, hair, and identity fitting all trace back to this correspondence map. Do this once per character before moving on.

Steps in Blender

  1. 1Open panel 1, "Landmarks", and select your character mesh.
  2. 2Click Auto-Place Landmarks to build the correspondence map.
  3. 3Optional cleanup: Exclude Selected / Clear to remove bad landmark points.
  4. 4Optional fine nudging: Edit Green Dots → Apply Pins → Clear All Green Dots.
  5. 5Optional, matches a real face: add a reference photo and click Fit Identity, undo with Clear Identity Texture.
  6. 6Optional, hand-fit: Start Pinning → drag pins to match your reference → Refit Pins (repeat as needed) → Finish Pinning.
