Why use it

A generic head rarely matches a specific performer's proportions — eye spacing, jaw width, nose shape. Fit Identity adjusts your character's proportions from one or more reference photos, so tracked motion maps onto a mesh that actually resembles the person driving it.

Steps in Blender

  1. 1Make sure landmarks are placed first (Auto-Place Landmarks) — identity fitting depends on that correspondence map.
  2. 2Add a front-facing reference photo to slot 1 (required).
  3. 3Optionally add side photos for extra accuracy.
  4. 4Click Fit Identity to adjust proportions.
  5. 5Not happy with the result? Click Clear Identity Texture to undo and try again.
